Legally Blonde

After the great success in Broadway, Legally Blonde musical will start in London's West End on the 5th of December at the magnificent Savoy Theatre. Based on Amanda Brown's novel and the movie of the same title, the musical by Jerry Mitchell won the Tony Award in 2009.

The story is about Elle Woods, a college sweetheart. As she was expecting the proposal from her boyfriend Warner, she was dumped instead because of her supposed casualness and frivolity. Such flaws that can be harmful to the future political career of Warner. Completely devastated, Elle decides to prove him that she stands out and applies for Harvard Law School. She passes the exams and enters the illustrious institution.

Once there, many people are sceptic about her abilities and do not really approve her presence in Harvard school. She discovers that Warner is already engaged with another student Vivian. Motivated by love, she studies as hard as she can and gets excellent results. Only Emmett, the law teaching assistant, believes in her potential.

Interns in their professor's company, Elle, Warner and Vivian have to deal with the defence of a murder case. Brooke, a young woman and fitness guru, is accused of murdering her much older and rich husband. Elle finds out the alibi of Brooke and is convinced of her innocence. Nonetheless she has to keep it secret as it is highly linked to Brooke's reputation as fitness guru. Finally, Elle is about to figure out the case and becomes friend with Vivian. She also discovers that Warner manages to get admission at Harvard thanks to his father influence. Supported by more and more friends, Ellen runs a successful career, enjoys her new life and even finds love in an unexpected person.

Full of beautiful dancing, fantastic music and humour it is the show that will entertain all the audiences! Ellen Woods will be played by the British comedy actress Sheridan Smith and former member of Blue band Duncan James will become the heart breaker Warner.
