Oliver musical is an adapted version of Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist. Its adaptation leads to the appearance of a very catchy and heart-warming musical with the lyrics by Lionel Bart. The musical moved to the big screen in 1968. The movie was a hit with a fascinating performance of Alec Guinness as Fagin. Now the musical is back in London and is bound to be one one of the greatest theatre productions.

The story of Oliver is heart-breaking and it takes us to the orphanage of 19th century. The young Oliver decides to run away from his poor and unfortunate home and go to the industrial capital of England – London. In London he meets Fagin and joins the gang of east-end boys. Oliver learns how to pickpocket on the streets of London. He sees many misfortunes and faces many dangers in his daily street London life.

Obviously children will adore this musical that follows the movements of one of Charles Dickens' most famous child characters. But Oliver is effectively one of those west-end theatre productions that should provide fantastic entertainment for people of all ages – the songs are just so catchy; the action is fast moving, exciting, funny and very, very moving.
