Priscilla queen of desert

Priscilla is a fantastic new musical coming from Australia. More than one million people have seen it in Australia and in New-Zealand which makes this musical one of the most successful Australian musical ever!
Directed by Simon Phillips, the musical has been written by Allan Scott and Stephan Elliott and it is based on on the Australian Oscar and BAFTA winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert".

The plot is the story of three drag queens from Sydney. They decided to go on a road trip through out the rough outback of Australia to present their own show. Jason Donovan as Tick, Tony Sheldon as Bernadette and Oliver Thornton as Felicia do not feel really fulfilled with their lives so they go off in search of adventure with their show driving their battered old bus called Priscilla. The three experience great moments and enjoy an extraordinary and unexpected life time friendship!

This production is spectacular: amazing costumes, lively songs, great scenery. You cannot help but dancing in your seat and clapping all along the musical. The 450 different dresses designed by Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner who won the Oscar for best costume design with the film and the 28 outstanding dancers will fill you with wonder.

Priscilla features top hits such as "Finally", "Shake your Groove Thing", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "I Will Survive".
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert got many praising reviews:
Evening Standard: "A BIG-HIT MUSICAL. I welcome Priscilla with open arms. Priscilla never loses its spectacular, helter-skelter momentum. It offers a joyful antidote to a world of hatred and violence".
Daily Mail : "A huge antidote to the doom and gloom of the recession."
